Aquessentia technology is developed through progressive research, also conducted at the IRCCS CROB – Oncology Referral Centre of Basilicata, with the aim of observing and understanding the effects of informed water on bioelectric balance and tissue regeneration processes.
Two pilot studies represent the first steps of this scientific journey, offering a coherent overview between experimental research and clinical application.
Study 1 — Bioelectric balance and cellular vitality
The first study explored the effect of informed water on bioimpedance parameters, comparing its action with TENS, a well-established method in rehabilitation.
The results showed a significant reduction in resistance, an indicator of greater conductivity and tissue vitality, accompanied by an increase in reactance and phase angle, parameters associated with better intracellular hydration and cell quality.
This study suggested the ability of informed water to favorably modulate the bioelectrical balance of tissues, laying the groundwork for further investigations into the mechanisms of interaction between frequencies, water, and biological systems.
Study 2 — Post-Surgical Scar Healing Support
The second study, observational and double-blind, involved 30 patients undergoing reconstructive or aesthetic breast surgery, randomly divided into a group treated with informed saline solution and a control group with standard saline solution.
Within an identical dressing protocol for all patients and with a follow-up of up to one year, informed water was used as a local support for surgical wound management, allowing the observation of the healing process under standardized clinical conditions.
The research hypothesis considered the possible role of organized water in supporting cellular reorganization, oxidation-reduction processes, and biological self-regulation mechanisms in the early stages of healing.
